manos de fe works to break the cycle of poverty by providing this rural area of panama with a community school.

Until recently, there has been no local high school, which has left the majority of teenagers and adults without education beyond the grade school or middle school level. Recognizing this need for further education, Manos de Fe provides a distance learning school with certified teachers that is approved by the Panama government. Our school increases the educational opportunity levels for the entire community. Students can obtain a high school level education and learn English, thus improving their ability to obtain employment or attend a university.
